Ross Klavan is currently working on the film Tan N Naked for MCM Films. His most
recent screenplays include The Colony,
based on a book by John Bowers, and Baghdad
Blog for InterMedia/BBC4. His other recently completed screenplay is Heaven’s Brides for A & E. Klavan’s
screenplay for the film Tigerland (2000) was nominated for the Independent Spirit
Award. The film was directed by Joel Schumacher, released by New Regency/20th
Century Fox in 2000 and starred Colin Farrell. Some of his other screenwriting
work includes Abyssinia for director Roger Donaldson, an adaptation of Tom
Clancy’s novel Without Remorse for
Paramount, War Party for Walden Media
and Within Range for Miramax. He was
also a script consultant for Marconi
Brothers, and for television, he’s written Deathwork, which will be directed by Robert Greenwald for TNT.
Ross is a mentor in the low-residency MFA creative program at Wilkes University.
